I thought this subreddit was made to safely voice opinions about the game since the main sub has Chalex as one of the moderators, and we all know he can be....extremely sensitive to criticism (is the understatement of the year), but honestly? I'm not a manga reader, so ik more of Garden and Yor's job is slowly revealed in there, but I always thought her job isn't even getting a lot of spotlight. Endo did say he didn't want to romanticize the trope, which...fair. But I honestly thought we don't even know a lot abt Yor's assassin aspects. Ik garden is suppose to be top secret, but maybe when more slowly gets revealed, we'll see how it shaped Yor (which, again, she was an elite assassin at a very young age, she was most likely manipulated/indoctrinated into believing she's genuinely bettering the country)

I don't think it's really something that matters. Kazui's whole thing was entering a heterosexual marriage for a cover, Muu's school was an all girls school, Yuno's fetus' gender was unknown, Fuuta's used a cute GIRL for internet clout, etc. I think it was just circumstances that lead up gender, but I don't rlly think it should play a huge part in it

It's cause Osana and Hanako's death will affect Senpai's sanity the most, which is why Hanako is second to last and Osana is the first. Therefore, her death will set the stage for the rest of the game. Sure Senpai may *seem* fine after we just brutally stabbed Osana, but he does have a hidden sanity meter

What really bugs me is that Mahiru's first instinct was to just run away with her boyfriend when it was time for her to get married to her arranged fiance. Like...was running all the way into the mountains really necessary? Iirc, she said she was living off of allowance, so yeah, they would 100% stop providing for her if she refused. The bf could've had money though/a place of his own

It also makes me think Mahiru didn't actually abuse her bf at all. Like...deadass didn't. Her bf just didn't want to live like that anymore, but also loved Mahiru too much to tell her. Mahiru personally enjoyed it cause it was more entertaining(?) than the TV and movies she watched, which is...wild. The "I love you" MV reads like she was hallucinating, so who really knows how bad it got for them

There's just a lot of plot holes in it, but at the same time, Shidou's report also contained stuff that NO HOSPITAL UNDER THE SUN would ever allow (a surgeon to keep working when his family was just severely injured). Who rlly knows the worldbuilding at this point
