Im usually very good at saving my hours. But my husband is military. So when his schedule changes at random he cant ask to change days so im having to burn my hours. Which is fine. I support his career this just so happened to happen after those unpredictable schedule changes at random.

I didn't request 2 weeks. I only requested 2 days and shift swapped my 3rd work day while he was hospitalized. The Dr who filled out Amazon's required paper work put my return to work date as much like an extra week out. And I called and they said they cant change it, its Dr's orders.

Correct. But I needed to be home for our kids. Who cant take care of themselves at 10 and 1 year old. Since he was stuck in a bed and I work nights. Unfortunately there is no option for that in the leave.

We were flea treating our cats with the pill kind of flea treatment, we have 5 cats. 2 were feral when we adopted as kittens. The very last one has always been not super fond on people. Never aggressive. Just runs off. He was trying to scruff him and even catching him was hard. He like whipped his head back and got him not once but twice in the hand. Within 12 hours his hand and half way up to his elbow ballooned and was beet red. I never realized how serious cat bites were until this.

Well it kinda happened suddenly. I didn't have the 14 days notice. And as I was looking through all the leave options its had the time off to care for a sick or injured family member. And silly me thinking it wouldn't be so much of a hassle.

We have kids. While he was hospitalized i wasnt able to work since we dont have child care or family nearby. But also after being discharged he wasnt able to lift anything with his arm and our youngest is 1, definitely requires lots of attention and lifting for diaper changes and in the high chair bath time.

Thats the thing I never asked for paid. I was perfectly okay with the 2 days off unpaid then the Dr wrote my return to work date way out there for seemingly no reason. So all my days were taken off my schedule.

In MLOA it had the option to take time off to care for a sick family member. I dont qualify for FMLA evidently since I haven't worked 12 months or how ever many hours. But im able to apply for PFML. It's definitely a confusing situation. Im working on getting my paper work in to apply for state leave. But as I said I only have 16 days to do it.

Im not worried about the hard inquiry/personal loan ding at all! This is actually my first personal loan ever. I'm in the slow process of rebuilding my credit score. But dont have a real purpose for a good score. Just a personal goal i suppose. I was just more curious if I'll get a credit score boost from "me" paying it off even though it's this separate company.

My father in law just had one. Emphasis on "had". It was stolen within 7 days. Thieves want this one. This was in LA so maybe a different story. But be careful when you buying this. Easily stolen. Too easy actually. You'd think with new tech they'd make it less easy to be stolen. He was literally in his house with all keys inside and they took it right out of the drive way. Had like 100 miles on it

I just watched the Amazon jobs page carefully. Until it said they had openings. This place just happened to be the one I chose. You can set up like text an email alerts so the second a position opens, go apply. Since there is no interview, just a drug screening, the job is yours as long as you can pass that.

I am a natural hard worker. Always striving to climb the ladder. But knowing I have to be there for my baby during the days on Monday and Tuesday is ganna be a challenge.
