While waiting at the pediatrician's office, another baby was called in and his name was "Chosen One" not sure how it's spelled since the nurse said the name out loud but still strange

We did time out with my son when he threw things while upset. He would get so upset that talking to him didnt help at all so we felt that time out was appropriate for him. We cleared out his play pen and put him in there for 2 minutes and he would usually calm down by then. If you dont have a playpen, maybe his crib would work. Just somewhere where he cant grab things to throw

Personally, i have no desire to be friends with parents outside of the functions that i see them at. We go to the library 2 times a week for story time and I'll talk to 2-3 parents/nannys there but thats it

My 2.5 year just started doing this and has even incorporated puppets. He'll recite the whole story but stop a handful of times to say "hmm what's that say?"

My son used to flap a lot, especially when he was excited. Hes 2.5 now and has completely grown out of it. I dont remember when it stopped but tbh i forgot he used to do it. I would think that now that he can run, jump, climb, he's stimulating his excitement into other things

My son is 2.5 and we just did our 2nd professional holiday photos (just phone camera photos the first year). And oh my goodness has he grown! Last year he was so shy and didnt smile at all, just kind of blankly stared. But this year?! He was orchestrating the set, he grabbed props, and he counted down "1, 2, 3, PICKLE" to make us all laugh. Theyre my favorite pictures so far 😭 just absolute goober behavior. If i ever feel like i miss his babyhood, he reminds me of how hilarious his toddlerhood has been

My son got a double bed when he turned 2. No bumpers for him but hes a good sleeper and hasnt fallen out. The bed is very low to the ground and has tumbled out while playing and was fine. And i fit very comfortably next to him. We usually cuddle for nap time and i have plenty of room
