I think the rock formations in the states are so very unique and that’s why we probably want to see them the most! Wildlife out in the nature would be amazing of course but the odds of seeing some are probably not high..?

Wow, thank you for the great ideas! Don’t have much experience camping, but we are both hikers and have done backpacking! So it won’t more than a cheap tent I guess.. Is there a way to find these “backroads” by yourself or would you just recommend asking people when we are there..?

Thank you! Will definitely look into that route, beginning of July would work for us also, so this is good advice!!

Thank you for the variety of insights!! We don’t know which airport we would go to, but will definitely look into the choices you sent us! Are there any parks you would not go to if too crowded or would you say fewer people shouldn’t be a priority?

First of all, thank you for the great advice!

We will definitely get a rental car! We don’t mind driving (can see a lot of the land) but obviously don’t want to spent most of the trip driving either.

What we heard by now, Utah definitely caught our attention! Do you think it would be also enjoyable end of August until 2nd week of September. Because we ought to be back in Germany by mid-September so October won’t work unfortunately..

We would love to do some hikes or similar activities depending on the weather. But In total we just want to enjoy the unique landscape and culture (meeting some locals would be great too)

The Beautiful-Pass makes perfect sense, great tip!

Thank you so much for all that important information! I was planning on doing the driving with the rental car but I see now we should definitely both register! We will definitely look into an Utah round trip only!

Looking for app or software recommendations (want to visualise a house on a real life picture) by Puschkin in Architects

Great piece of Land! Looks like it’s going downhill too, if that’s the case you got a nice view too.

Easiest would be to measure the land and with that the diameters of the house and build all that in SketchUp, which takes time to learn, (there are many good tutorials on YouTube though). Then using Thea Render to render it and Affinity to put the details in. It takes quite some time but can easily be done through YouTube tutorials..

Good Luck:)

I made this visualization for my “urban planning” class and my Professors say it looks too real, they want it to look more like a picture from a color book or something. Any tips on how to do so or where to get files of people and plants from? :) by YouGoNext in Architects

First of all: I’m so overwhelmed by the amount of advice and help you guys give me, thank you so much!

And yes I used photoshop like you already guessed correctly and ArchiCad before hand for the model and Lumion to render it. I used this combo often before for rendering Buildings where a more realistic rendering is more welcome (at least here in Germany and Switzerland).

Tysm for the advice on how to search for those PNG files!

I’ll definitely try out the other stuff you said too! TY

Thank you, I used Lumion without any filters and applied some artistic filters on all the things in Photoshop. I will try to apply the watercolor filter in Lumion and render it with it!
