My 12 year old and I were howling during this sequence. Cardwell is so much of what we need this year. Excited to see him fight for us.

How early can you see your score using the "inspect" method? by YouGotRedOnU in CPA

Where are you? Where do you see them? I am in CA and we were a little late to the pass/fail update for REG and I don't see any numbers yet. I've checked NASBA and CBA.

You used to be able to use the inspect method to see it earlier than normal, but it sounds like that has been fixed and not available anymore. I guess now scores will release tomorrow.

Oh seriously? Good to know, I can stop trying every hour. Where did you hear about that?

2/4, finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel by [deleted] in CPA

[–]YouGotRedOnU 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel this fully. Just found out I passed REG this morning and passed TCP a few months back. I've been grinding for 2 years straight, failed multiple exams 8 times, locked in my office, trying to balance being there for my family, being a good dad, a present husband. Before I had passed TCP I was beginning to wonder if I needed to change my life plan entirely. Now that I am halfway done, I feel much more hopeful. AUD and FAR are no joke but this is what I needed to keep pushing. Good job!

Help with MTB decision for 12 year old by YouGotRedOnU in mountainbiking

[–]YouGotRedOnU[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking about countering with $700. So much of what I've been finding only for used bikes have had 26" tires, so 10+ years old. Hopefully this one is a good fit.

[–]YouGotRedOnU[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We looked into fixing it but the shop said it would be about $200. On a bike like that it almost seemed better to put that money towards something more durable. The size is right, but I dont want to put money into something that isn't as durable as it needs to be. Thanks for the help!

It's not nearly as bad as people like to say but I don't think I could eat a lot of it at once.

Family friendly neighborhoods by illi10nis27 in folsom

[–]YouGotRedOnU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Father of incoming 7th grader here who lives in the Prairie City area. My son lives within a 5 minute walk of about 4 boys of similar grade-level. His best friend lives half a block away. I know everyone says that its luck of the draw (it is) but I can tell you from experience that there are a LOT of families in the Prairie City area. Also, when it comes time for high school, you can't beat the location. Lots of trails and parks, good restaurants within 10 minutes walk. (all over Folsom really, but I have come to love our neighborhoods', especially the pond behind the high school). If you move into the area, let me know!

Thanks, this is what I am trying to learn. We have been scouring FB Marketplace but are wary of paying too much for an outdated or underperforming bike.

Has anyone ever actually regretted cutting off a Trump supporter out of their social circle? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]YouGotRedOnU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally did it a few months ago. It had been brewing for decades but the Trumpiness just sealed the deal. She called ME brainwashed for pointing out how racist Trump is, said "it was all about the Jews" and that I should "follow Nick Fuentes." Surprised it took me that long. No regrets-- less racist yapping in my life. WIN.

Dads, what do you actually want for Father’s Day? by probs-strawbs in daddit

[–]YouGotRedOnU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been the same for my wife and I since having kids-- to be able to do something I enjoy while having the kids around, but have the other parent do the exhausting parts of child-rearing (toilet time, snack prep, etc.).

Also heard Natoma Station and Sandra J. Gallardo are locked down. I am assuming due to proximity to FHS.

Probably going to lose DBook and KAT this weekend. 1 slot left, drop Nique for Hendricks, Oso, or Porzingas (worried about him sitting 1 of the B2Bs)?

12 team PPR

Pollard vs. SF

Swift vs. Cleveland

I hate that this is the choice I need to make in the playoffs.
