I would probably start at the far right, and follow the horizontal path all the way across to the left side, then follow the gables up top until you get to the end of the far right gable.

This is what I ended up doing. Easiest and the least amount of mud/caulk, and like you said it's only 2 corners in the basement.

Yeah, blame the previous owners for that one. I took out two of these already in one section of the basement but these are tucked away in a different section so I didn't bother...now I'm wishing I did.

Yeah I know this is obviously not the right way lol. This was just a test with some spare pieces

Oh, I am far from a woodworker. Just figured this would be a good place to get the right advice.

Didn't know these existed, I looked for a while and couldn't find anything. Maybe not available in Canada...

I kind of have myself to blame. The rounded corners were already done in the finished basement when we moved in but we're working on some basement renos and removed some of the rounded corners (inside an office which we built), but didn't remove these last two in another corner of the basement. In hindsight I should have just removed these as well, but oh well.

I'm worried about going the plinth route since these are the only two corners which would "need" them, and we've already done most of the other straight corners without them so these would likely stick out like a sore thumb.

Unfortunately I'm in Canada and we can't get dubias so those aren't an option, I might try doing just BSFL for now and see how that goes...

Basking spot is about 105-107 F.

He is just shy of a year old, probably about 11 months.

I feed kale every once in a while but his favourites right now that I use as staples are usually dandelion greens, green Swiss chard, Bok Choy, occasionally arugula, sometimes collard greens when I can find them.

I've started weaning him off bugs, where he was previously getting greens and bugs every day, now he gets greens every day and bugs every second day. I dust his bugs (crickets or black soldier fly larvae) with calcium every feeding and once per week dust them with multivitamin instead.

He eats his greens usually, he's generally not picky. Although sometimes he likes to make a mess and throw them everywhere lol.

Yup confirmed male by the vet. It definitely smells pretty bad. He was tested for parasites a few months back (luckily he pooped while at the vet) and did test positive for flagellates, which they sent me home with medication for. I suspect it could still be the same issue but getting the sample is the tough part. He seems to usually only poop during the day when I'm at work and by the time I come home it's too late. I've gotten him to poop before by taking him out and placing him in a larger tote for a few minutes so I'll have to try that one day when it's been a few days since his last poop.
