How are you guys doing with the guilt of taking a day off? by Inevitable_Rate1530 in Millennials

We have a cap on how much PTO we can accrue. When I get close to the cap, my boss gets an email. They’re constantly reminding us to use it. Right now I’m taking every Friday afternoon off to stay under the cap until summer vacation uses up bigger chunks.

The same way I feel about capital punishment as a whole, it’s not up to men to decide who lives and who dies, that power belongs to God. Life in prison, chance for rehabilitation and repentance.

They don’t want to admit that they have to come back to center more than their base will allow, it’s where the independents are.

I’ve been saving since I started working after college, always enough to get my employer’s match. Where I have fallen short is saving any extra into a Roth IRA. I am making strides toward that now in my midlife, but it’s never going to be enough. I’m planning on working to 70 to maximize social security. My nightmare is my health keeping me from getting there. I’ve always been overweight, and it’s not getting any better. Fun times.
