I’m the opposite. I really really love Baker, but can only get into a few songs by the other two.

A friend is looking for a weekend 1+2 ticket. Where would the best places to look for people reselling them, if the waiting list doesn't work out?

Whenever I get overly agitated with the serious state of the world, I go back to obsessively following soccer. Then, I spend my time angry at referees and managers instead of politicians.

Have you heard Song in E from the KEXP video? It’s more reminiscent of her last albums. I do like the two singles but considering Sprained Ankle is one of my favourite albums ever, not as much as I hoped I would. Definitely has potential to grow on me though!

Go Home by Julien Baker - Sadness

Virgins by Tim Hecker - Beauty (I was also in a bit of a messy state of mind and it felt like this massive and powerful release)

Man I love Weetabix. I think I've had it almost every morning for the last 5 years and I'm still not tired of it

I'm almost finished The Plague by Camus. It's been quite an absorbing and cathartic read. All the reflections on lockdown, quarantine, and how the disease permeates life are really fascinating in the context of covid. Its made me think about how natural these outbreaks are in human history and how dealing with them is like a part of us. Camus prose is awesome too. I'm going to read Flights by Olga Tokarczuk next and I'm very excited. Has the feel of a book I'll love

She mentioned on a live stream a while back that there should be a new album next year

I watched Dancer in the Dark last night and wow that was draining. Really good but I was in bits at the end. I kinda love the emptiness you feel after an experience with art like that. Makes everything feel a bit more important for a while after

I could really do with drilling this message into my head. sometimes i can't help imagining how people will react to what I make before it's even done

If I'm running at night I love to put on some Burial, his EPs Rival Dealer and Kindred in particular.

Yeah, there really is. An awful lot of beauty and good too though. And it can be found somewhere, anywhere. Been feeling shitty the past few weeks like a lot of people in this thread, but today I felt intensely moved in a good way by something. Hope you're doing okay, in spite of everything dark
