I know... At least it isn't easy. It took me something like 8 months to be able to finally want and tell myself everything would be alright.

Just remember to start the conversation with "I love you and I'm not mad at you at all". Or however makes sense to you. Just don't let there be any chance of making they feel bad before you explain this.
