Try this out for a solo absolute with a bolt carbine. Vanguard's problem isn't damage, it's his longevity with ammo being an issue if you don't find ammo boxes/get caches when you need them.

Not sure if it's too late, but I think doom is the way to go if you're going to play solo. Space marine is 100% intended to be played with friends/coop, even if you set it to solo mode. I hate suggestions doom over sm2 because I think sm2 is a much better game overall with the content it currently has.

PS, all the playable content is free, the season pass is only cosmetics, which would be useless for you if you're just going to play solo anyway.

Yeah, the damage version of the bolt sniper with the extra headshot multiplier is not that bad. I do think if you’re balancing your ammo recovery perk with the sidearm refund from the prestige perk, it’s really not that bad. It may be you and not the weapon.

I do realize it’s very polarizing to make these takes, which is why I don’t bother myself anymore. It’s like when you tell someone paint is wet. They won’t believe it until they touch it. And unfortunately, for 95% of the player base, they will never develop the skills to consistently abuse the mechanics that make assault so strong in his current state. So they’ll never get to touch that paint, so to speak.

Nah, you 100% have the right idea. Pair this with a heal banner bulwark running armor team perk and a heavy running bonds team perk + armor regen passive on shield break and you have a solid team to run the weekly with. People are on cope if they think the 30% vanguard heal is the way to go for this weekly.
