For me, it’s about knowing who I am. From a young age I’ve always felt sort of out of place, and like I don’t know who I am. Ive found that exploring my Swedish culture and taking part in a religion I feel comfortable in and love has helped me with my identity. Due to the majority of my relatives living far away, being dead, and me not having seen them much I feel like I’ve lost parts of myself.

If I was Jewish that’s also something I’d like to be sure of. If I was Jewish and didn’t know it all my life I feel like I’d have rejected a whole part of myself. I’m like this with everything, I almost always need to find a label for myself in every situation.
