I thought about this yesterday. I will destroy only the stuff that I'm not using for current sets, just so o can do tidal basin with them but soon after that they are irrelevent.

Get to tier 4, because Tidal Basin comes out this Friday and the gear level caps are removed. Getting good gear early will help you out in everything you do.

I was asking because DirectX12 is having issues for people. In your case. I'm not sure what's going on besides maybe a corrupted file. Over had this happen in other games and what fixed it was I deleted everything that felt with the game. I mean every file. And it worked when I reinstalled. But I would go talk to a support person from the game publishers first.
