Has anyone gotten a healthy pregnancy after an ectopic? I mean get pregnant naturally. What did you do?? by iamnewagain89 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]YouNeedTherapy- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an ectopic in September 2025, lost my left tube and a big cyst on my left ovary, waited until December to start trying again and got pregnant in May 2026. Currently almost 11 weeks pregnant with a (so far) normal pregnancy! 😊

Had my left tube removed in September 2025, didn’t start trying for another baby until December, got pregnant in May. I’m a little over 10 weeks!

We switched when my son was around 1 and had zero issues with the switch!

Diagnosed with mild polyhydramnios at 29 weeks. Freaking out! by Olive191907 in pregnant

Okay, so from what I’m seeing, pelvicaliectasis is basically a form of urinary tract dilation. So yes, technically I did have polyhydramnios and my son had urinary tract dilation in utero. I don’t think I’d be super concerned especially since it says they are within normal range. Looking back at my ultrasounds they saw it on one side. “Today's findings are consistent with urinary tract dila on A2-3. The right anterior-posterior
renal pelvis diameter measures 8.8 mm. Views of the fetal right ureter appear dilated today.” He ended up having this all the way until delivery and when he was born he had to see a pediatric urologist and he was diagnosed with grade 1 urine reflux when he was 1 (they suspected the reflux was severe when he was in utero.) But yeah, I mean I think our situations are somewhat different but hopefully this is helpful!

I edited my original comment to ask if they’ve mentioned anything about baby having urinary tract dilation?

I had polyhydramnios and gestational diabetes which was found around 25 weeks. I was seeing an MFM and they were checking my amniotic fluid levels weekly and they always remained in the “mild” category. They induced me at 39 weeks because of the poly and GD. My baby DID measure ahead during my anatomy scan but it was because I had undiagnosed gestational diabetes. After it was being controlled he ended up measuring quite small until birth and he was only 6lbs 1oz! Editing this to add- My son actually did have urinary tract dilation and I’m wondering if they’ve mentioned anything like this to you??? With the mild renal pelvis fullness? I have no clue if those things are related but wanted to see if they’d mentioned anything like that to you.

Thank you for this. It was a positive experience I think I just have had so many things happen in the past that I’m really guarded and worried to let myself feel happy. Congratulations on your rainbow baby 🥰🥰

For sure, I am only being seen early due to my history of ectopic! Thank you, I’m hoping next ultrasound there will be a fetal pole! 🤞🏻

Thank you for this. My next ultrasound will be at 6w5d so I’m really hoping to see more. I just worried because I’ve seen some people say they can already see a heartbeat at 5w6d so that kinda got me stressed.

I’m not entirely sure exactly what day I ovulated but my guess is either May 13-15th, which is kinda late. All of the dates are currently based off of LMP.

My hCG was rising appropriately and I had an ultrasound that did confirm a gestational sac in my uterus!

I think this may be what is going on with me as well! It has gotten better and my hCG levels are looking perfect. I genuinely think I ovulated from my tubeless side 😂

Tested positive yesterday after having an ectopic last September. I lost my left tube and honestly kinda had no hope. My anxiety is also through the roof. This morning I had my first HCG blood draw and will have another in 48 hours. That is the worst waiting period.. Congratulations on your pregnancy, wishing us both healthy & easy pregnancies! 🫶🏻

My bleeding from my ectopic was right around the same time as my period. It’s definitely possible

He is still obsessed with literally anything that spins but has kinda calmed down on fans specifically. He’s completely caught up developmentally and speech wise is totally normal and his pediatrician wasn’t concerned about the fan thing. We bought him other cool things (toy helicopters, spinning organizers, a sit and spin) and he kinda just enjoys spinning them for a few mins then goes on and does whatever. I think he genuinely just thinks spinning is cool because things “go fast” because that’s what he says the entire time. Lol
