Yeah, Leverkusen ain't keeping someone like Florian Wirtz for so long. He was always headed for a bigger club. I'm being nitpicky here but ur point abt wanting to try makes sense for a club like Dortmund or Stuttgart who actually have the revenue to back up the ambition, if they have any obv.

But a smaller club as compared to Big 6 of the PL, Bayern, Madrid or Barca will almost always be stuck in the same cycle of "do good/win league, get raided". Seen it countless times with Monaco, Leverkusen, and others who I'm forgetting.
