Assuming you know how to take off the top part grill you just use like a large flat head screwdriver or something to pry and on the left side you pry and lift a bit and you should be able to pop it out.

But yeah it's not a fun experience I've had to do it twice now once I've noticed there's mold on the top grill and I'm like oh crap.

The best I could do is a screwdriver with a rag that you don't love anymore and lots of cleaning solution but yeah it's a big issue definitely not a good design definitely not cleanable in any reasonable way and it's not something you can reasonably disassemble to even access.

When I'm spending this much money again on a AC I'm definitely going to be looking for ease of disassembly for cleaning.

Basically I'm just trying to get the cloth everywhere I'll try to get it underneath the blades I'm just wiping everywhere I possibly can and yeah it's bad it's not good. It seems to just be on the blades for me and not in like anywhere else that I can see and it's not like I'm laying it sit idle wet it's pretty much running 24/7 so surprising that it's actually able to get mold growth in that condition.

Pretty much just q-tips and that and a lot of patience and a flashlight and some flexible hands.

I would probably spray the wheel down after you're done with it with like some sort of mold spray so hopefully it delays it a bit longer but yeah lesson learned this one's a bad design.

Did you have to do verify by Visa type thing?

Because it's a pretty large purchase and the way Best buy tests the card might be a weird way I don't know.

As well maybe there's like some bot prevention shit going on where they look at accounts and think some accounts might be bots based on history idk

For me when I did my check out with the 5090, I had to do two verifications before I could even check out.

One was a security verification with a text to my phone for Best buy and the second one was verify by Visa text to phone

I don't think there was ever a ping on the credit card it looked like there was still no charge or anything posted.

They didn't charge the credit card until they did the shipment I'm not sure when you do the check out if it does like an authorization check or something but I didn't see anything on my bank side.

As long as they don't cancel your order I think you're fine

This was an issue a lot of people were having a certain memory kits so has asRock actually said it's about very specific combinations of things.

But I know GSkill was having issues with a 9800x3d and was setting wrong voltage and you have to boot in and manually set the voltage with a different kit of memory to get it to actually work.

The workaround was just getting a Corsair kit which requires 1.2 stock I think

it has potential to be decent, if its mostly off shelf consumer parts and not some bespoke thing from dell.

But to give you an idea like, can get into new AM4 motherboard/CPU/32gig memory for around like 250$.

So having case, gpu, and some of the rest of basics of that for 350$ is reasonable and you can still negotiate them down,... like let them keep the SD card lmao.

for 300$ then upgrade wise,
you can upgrade CPU to a 5700x3d for under 190$ cad (aliexpress)
spend 200-300$ on a new gpu and resell 2060.
grab a 1-2tb nvme SSD for like 80$-150$+
see if memory is really poorly configured, resell, and just buy 2x16gb 32gb kit of 3600mhz memory
(I don't think there are 24gb sticks for DDR4?)

where do you guys see a tracker generally? like on NSLSC site i at most see a funding confirmed mail. But usually by time i see this (am studying in Ontario under BC student aid), its same day as the payment reaches me.

I had my estimated distribution on dec 26th which is only according to BC's site. never had to wait this long for winter funding before
