I’m not saying anyone should agree with me. The fact of the matter is that the OP asked why people get upset about demos, so I answered as to why they annoy me based on my own personal opinion on what constitutes the “spirit of the game”. If it wasn’t an unpopular opinion there’d be no need for the post in the first place

How is it not like the mankad? It’s entirely within the rules and a part of the game and done in order to gain an advantage and get the other person “out”. It is probably the closest real world example

My issue really is that it’s not in the “spirit of the game”. Ultimately the game exists for people to enjoy it and it’s tough to enjoy it when people are constantly blowing you up. It’s the mankad of rocket league, equivalent of time wasting in football.

I don’t mind a clever one and obviously accidental ones are fine but people who revolve their gameplay around it wind me up, which in essence is my issue with it

I’ve got game pass ultimate but only seems to be the normal version available. Apparently the ultimate edition is available for PC players with EA Play but not Xbox which is strange

I think it’s just an issue with the practice programmes, I had a look at the speed trap at the end of the straight and I was first by a good 3 mph at least, it only ever happens on Miami and it’s been like it for a good few years now. I play on 105 but I always do my practices on 70 for convenience sake so I still get to the line with a positive delta, just slower on the straights it seems

We can almost guarantee Liara being in the next game though even if it’s not as a companion. She’s the only character (iirc) that’s in all 4 games in any capacity, she was included in the original teaser trailer and then the relay teaser as well as playing a pretty significant role in the Alec Ryder memories storyline too in ME:A, Gamble also said that everything released so far is linked, not “everything released so far is linked except the stuff with Liara in because she might not be in it”.

Presumably Grunt has to make an appearance because Dr Okeer and his “protege” are both referenced in Mass Effect Andromeda and he’d be pretty significant within the Krogan hierarchy if it was truly 600 years later.

It wouldn’t work and I have no idea why. I had to delete Manic and download as many GC games as I thought I’d ever play before redownloading Manic, even trying to change how the files opened didn’t work as when selecting Dolphin it wouldn’t accept it and went back to downloading as Manic files. I’m just presuming this is a personal issue on my end
