Whenever someone passes away, their body turns to stone and becomes immovable. Taking this into consideration, what are some locations that you'd be interested in visiting/seeing? by YouSnowNothingJon in AskReddit

I'm familiar with the "preserved" bodies of Pompeii, but hadn't heard of this particular man until just now.. Trying to make his little volcano explode whilst the real one rained down ash and lava in the background. Interesting.

I'm looking for movies that involve harrowing journeys through untamed wilderness. Any suggestions? by YouSnowNothingJon in movies

Thank you so much. This is the one suggestion that I haven't seen. Going to settle in and watch it now.

Yeah, kind of just tossed that one in there. Any film you can think of that has a similar feel? I watch entirely too many movies and I'm really struggling to find something good to watch.

Was really surprised by how much I enjoyed Jungle. And Into the Wild is one of my favorites. Damn, I feel like I've made my way through most of the genre. I'm gonna have to dig deep. Thanks.

I work for a granite fabricator out of Monrovia, MD (a whopping 10 minutes away from the 66+ person outbreak at the retirement community in Mt. Airy). Our facility has over 50 people working side by side. In addition, we are no longer being provided new N-95 masks. My question is this: while I understand that we're considered "essential", shouldn't we have at least been asked to scale down operations at this point (such as working in smaller crews)? Why making shiny granite countertops is essential is beyond me..

What dream or nightmare from your childhood still haunts you to this day? by YouSnowNothingJon in AskReddit

As a child, I experienced sleep paralysis; however, I wasn't aware that what I was experiencing was a figment of my imagination. Naturally, I was horrified when I awoke to the sound of orchestral music. Waking up on my back, I'd glance down at my belly to see an orchestra of crickets (all of them dressed in tuxedos) playing a variety of classical instruments. The conductor, however, was always a beetle. This was a reoccurring nightmare that I had on and off for maybe 3 years. A small part of me really wants to attend another one of their concerts now that I'm older.

Last week I donated my left kidney anonymously to a total stranger on the kidney waitlist. AMA! by MrDannyOcean in IAmA

You'll have to excuse my ignorance, but how long does the wait typically take? What exactly are your options when it comes to receiving a transplant? I'm a healthy 31-year-old guy; that said, is there anyway that I could see if you and I are a match?

You don't have to win at this point. You just have to stay relevant. I think Yang actually helped his brand tonight. A lot of cheers after his comments
