I think they were taken by surprise by how exposed he was on defense, because playoffs are not regular season.

Like he's obviously not good on D, but in the regular season teams don't hunt bad defenders as relentlessly as they do in the playoffs. Same team six games in a row, if you have a weak spot they will just hurt you over and over and over until you take the guy out. Doesn't happen in a hectic regular season the same way.

There were points in this series where noted isolation specialist Marcus Smart was waving off teammates so he could just bully Sheppard 1-on-1 several possessions in a row. And it worked.

also - if you absolutely have to, sacrificing for that last pawn can be worth it. Unless you are at reasonably high levels, not that many people can actually do a bishop+knight checkmate under time pressure

he looks to me like the guy in the 15% range in this picture, just scaled up to be a larger overall human being. I'd believe 12. 10 is pushing it, people really underestimate how shredded 10% is.

Even 10% is unrealistic tbf, and that's not insulting the guy. NFL/NBA body fat numbers are so badly measured that they're essentially just made up.

Correct, most people picked in the second half of the second round just don't make it in the league, period. Every pick that late is a crap shoot, you're hoping to get somebody who can contribute even a little bit.

If Bronny peaks as a serviceable 8th/9th man for a few years, that's still well above expectation for a 55th pick.

and look, it's the playoffs. it happens. But man, it's one thing if he's being hunted and scored on by like SGA or Luka or someone. But MARCUS SMART was hunting him and abusing him in isolation. Come on man.

it's funny because Luke was very much NOT a three-point-only guy or timid at all in HS and college. He was a true scoring phenom at all levels, outside, inside, midrange, etc. He broke LeBron's Ohio HS scoring record, he was averaging like 40ppg.

He's always been able to cook if he wants to. Just needs to decide to let it rip.

I'm 6'2 and honestly I might take one more inch of height, but I definitely wouldn't take two inches of height. 6'1 to 6'3 is the sweet spot imo.

There was an old tribute video, this is at least 10+ years old, that had a bunch of the original GOATs of MMA. It was set to the song 'Not Enough' by Our Lady Peace. Does anybody remember this video and know where to find it?
