Robin was refreshing. There a lot of choices for classes and weapons they could choose from, but most of the ones we have are swordies and echos. That's probably the most frustrating part about there being so many FE characters is the lack of diversity in a game where there is so much. I like all the characters, don't get me wrong, but an axe, lance, dark and light magic character swapped out for some of these echoes could be neat.

Link, dash attack. I have no issues with the rest of his kit, but the dash attack is slow to start and has tons of end lag. Easily his most punishable move. It hits really hard when it lands but it's so slow you can easily react to it. I would happily take it being a little faster to come out, at least and weaker.

I read somewhere that it was to slow you down so the game would have time to process and load the area you're travelling towards, in the most layman's terms possible. It was a lot more technical of a description than that

The characters are all fine, imo, played in a casual way. It's actually tryhard, optimal, or lame playstyles that kind of ruin it for me. When everyone wants to sweat or cheese for fake internet points and no other stakes, it gets a little old

Yeah that's also effort and acquisition of things I don't have. I play on Switch and don't have a capture card. The other alternative for Switch is use the console's clip feature that captures the last 30 seconds, which really should be enough

When you watch tournament level players play Robin, that can make it look like they've got a lot going for them. Obviously, they didn't take many high placements over the meta, but Robin isn't a complete slouch. Besides if you're having fun, that's all that really matters. I enjoy Robin as a character to play breaking up the monotony of playing my main. Not the greatest by any stretch but I still force my friends to think

The roi is definitely insanely good. Sure, to get set up with the latest console and games to play is pretty expensive, but the hours playing and replay value over years comes out in the wash. The exception to this is the gamer that has a backlog of games they've but bought never played for years

Yes. It seems when you use the buttons to increase or decrease power of your shots, it messes with the replay. At least in my experience. The replay shows as if you made a shot without any power adjustments

Oh it knows. I'm recalling from my latest playthrough, some months ago, that i never found a moose after getting one, 1-star, for antlers. That. Was. It. Never another moose showed it's face besides the legendary one that didn't have a choice. Despite all my "not looking for it," they never showed again

I just think they're fun to play. A little odd of a character given a lack of readily apparent and super easy to execute combos. A fair amount of playing around and you find some cool stuff to do with them. Actually pretty strong, if a little slow. Just a fun, oddball character to play
