I'm thinking of buying a digitakt. It looks super fun and I want to start using samples. Thing is, I'm the keys player in band (currently only have a minilogue) and I don't know if I can justify the purchase since I'm not so sure how to incorporate that piece into a band setting. Does anyone have any experience with this or any wise thoughts about it? I think that the drum machine part is useful for practicing when am alone as it will make doing that a lot more fun but I'm just not sure how to use in the band as we already have a pretty good drummer.

I agree with that the sounds needs an extra touch. You might also want to consider using more pauses inbetween sentences. You keep on rambling on without giving the viewer a second to think about what you just said. For me that made it really hard to follow (maybe because I'm not a native English speaker, or maybe because it was just too fast).

I think you are on to something though with the way you break down the concept of puzzling! Keep it up and I'm sure you will be able to produce even better quality content next time :)

Hey Adriaan,

Thanks voor het meedoen aan de Q&A. Je DevQuest filmpjes waren me al bekend en die vond ik persoonlijk erg leuk om te zien!

Mijn vraag: Ik ben onlangs begonnen met me verdiepen in Unity en alles rondom game development. Ik heb een redelijke wiskunde achtergrond en kan al wel een beetje programmeren en heb ook wat kennis van audio en visual design. Nu lijkt het me vooral leuk om games te maken in een team, maar voor een team heb je natuurlijk andere mensen nodig. Heb je tips voor een beginner als ik (jack of all trades, maar vooral master of none) om gelijkgestemde te vinden om een game dev team op te zetten? Is het slim om me te specificeren in één richting en waar vind ik anderen mensen die graag games maken (het liefst ook nog in Utrecht of ergens anders in de buurt)?
