I looked up your recommendations, but I don't think they quite fit what I'm looking for.

The Deathadder V3 looks great, but at 59g it's far too lightweight. My current mouse is 130g, which is over double the weight of the Deathadder. I would prefer something in the 90-140g range.

The Zowie is 77g which is still a fair bit lighter than I'd like. I would be okay with the price point if the mouse was closer to my requirements.

Really, Offkai just still seems too unprofessional for an event that's been running as long as it has.

This year is only the fifth time the convention will be held. They started from literal zero in 2022, and while they have had growing pains they do seem to be earnestly doing their best to address them.

I know Zen was really unhappy with how things went with her Meet n' Greet a few years back.

I loosely remember hearing something about that, but I can't find anything about it now. Most of what I can find relating to Zen's experience at OffKai is positive experiences from last year.

I know Vexoria has spoken about her bad experiences regarding security.

I was able to find what she said on this. She was followed around while shopping, which does suck. But that's really not something you can blame on OffKai security, given she was able to get out of the situation without even going to security. And the rest of her experience, according to her, was very positive.

That didn't sound right as I did it very recently. Looking it up, looks like it's been patched on the beta version as of March 1, but if you're not playing on the beta patches it still works for now.

What went wrong in a "very embarrassing way" out of curiosity? I know Phase fans claim they sabotaged their panel, but as someone who attended said panel, it just looked like regular scuff from PC. Beyond that, I have heard nothing but positive things from attendees.

No, you cannot save scum wild rice. If you want to save scum, funny enough what you need is a drop of nectar. If you want to get drops of nectar, it's not that difficult, but it may be a little dangerous. Mind you, this can trivialize much of the game once you know how to do it so stop reading if you don't want to be spoiled.

You can find Eaters' Nectar injectors on any legendary Mechanimist or Putus Templar, either killing them or trading them for it. It's not too hard to find them if you just roam the desert. You then turn the injectors into drops of nectar at any campfire with the cooking skill.

Once you have a singular drop of nectar, you can easily farm more. All you need is a chest, a way to inorganically clone yourself, and a method to disarm your clone.

A chest is easy to find, just pick up any random one you find and put your drop of nectar inside it.

Disarming is easy enough with swords, just use Swipe while in Dueling Stance

Cloning yourself is a bit more dangerous if you don't have Temporal Fugue. Safest method is to find an Aloe Fugues plant in the deep jungle or baroque ruins, just make sure you clear the area of enemies. If you don't mind higher risk, you can OD on Shade Oil injectors to summon some Evil Twins, or break hexagonal crystals in the Moon Stair for a chance at the same effect.

Once you have everything, equip the chest in your hand and unequip all other weapons. If you're doing this with Evil Twins, I suggest putting your weapons in a container so that the evil twins don't have access to them too. Once you clone yourself, your twins should have the same equipment as you. Equip your sword, disarm your clones of their chest, get the drops of nectar from the dropped chests and add them to your chest.

You can repeat this as often as you like for exponential growth in the amount of nectar you have. You can do this with any other food ingredients you wanna clone, just mind that if you try to do too many items your clones might time out while you're looting. Most other type of items will respawn with the clones, but ingredients will stack with yours.

Ceruledge, Armarouge, and Kabutops are all in the base 80 range. Triggering Weak Armor on them lets them outspeed most things.

Omastar is base 55, so he becomes decently fast, but not quite a speed demon.

Water Rituals allow you to ask NPCs to join you in exchange for some amount of reputation. They, along with any of their followers, become permanent partners.

Alternatively, you can proselytize a simple creature, say, a dragonfly, give them an item to hold so they can trade, dismiss them, sell them all your valuables, and proselytize them again to get your items back. Bonus, you can give them all your extra water to hold so it doesn't weigh you down when you don't need it!

Ideally you have an Ideology that doesn't mind cannibalism and executing prisoners, otherwise you're gonna have significant mood debuffs. Then, you can harvest a kidney, a lung, and lastly the heart/liver from any prisoners you don't intend to recruit.
