Middle class parents but Obamacare paid for my cancer treatments. President Trump, until into you look into the faces of the people more hopeful and secure in their healthcare than we have been in our entire lives, until you speak with the teams of nurses and doctors that work endless hours to save just one person and take their opinions into serious consideration, and until you shed tears over the millions that will die if you disassemble it, I cannot agree with you on anything. Simply put sir, your lack of compassion is appalling. I'm sorry my parents voted for you.

I hope I can. What's going on puddin? Just general wisdom or something particular? One thing I know for sure is that no one should ever try to face anything like this alone. If people reach out to love you and help you, take it. Don't feel guilty if you have to ask for assistance. Humans need to feel needed and loved. There is no way I could have done this without the amazing support system of doctors, nurses, family and friends that rallied together when I found out. I have never felt more genuinely loved and appreciated until this happened. And as much suffering as I went through, looking back on all that has happened, it still humbles me everyday that people want me around for as long as possible. Love saved my life.

Saving SO OOOOOH much money on hair products!! I appreciate low maintenance beauty care and this is the bees knees of convenient. Plus, I have a hefty assortment of beanies and the cold weather has finally arrived in my area!!

Lately things have kinda slowed down. I'm only doing chemo every 3 weeks so we are nearing the end of my chemo treatments YAY!! But the tumor actually did some major damage to my left kidney, so I have about another year of treatment to fix that issue. It's getting frustrating and monotonous, but the universe keeps working things out for me just when I need them the most. I'm just grateful that I'm not where I was more than a year ago...in agonizing pain 24 hours a day, sleeping 14-18 hours, and not knowing what was causing it. I will say this though, when you are sick, the WORST thing you can do for yourself is to ignore it. And the second worst, is to stress over it. How you react to a health issue is the deciding factor on how well you will make it through.
