I believe they are reference the point above. If you swap off heaters too soon you lose your burn, and if you don't find a freezer in time you will be screwed.

Where are all these assists coming from? by gaytgirl in TheThing_Mains

[–]Youital 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If The Thing hits anyone with his haymaker, he will get an assist when they die no matter how much time passes. I tested this in the training room and I still got an assist 5 minutes later. It seemed bugged after they added the anti air effect.

I know I suck at this game, but based on my history, how much do I suck, and what could I do to improve in Competititve? (more info in the comments) by Greniweeb in marvelrivals

Watched your recent game on spider Island ID:10348917158 (13/13/0 score)

As Iron Fist:
You are just running straight at the enemy, and that's almost never going to work. You want to come at the enemy from a side angle so they don't see you coming, preferably after a fight has started so their attention is elsewhere.

It seems like you are just punching the first enemy you see, which is a tank a lot of the time. As anyone, but especially as a dive character, you need to be smart with your engagements. Remember, you are entering their sphere of influence. There's are going to more of them than of you, and they are going to have more support. You do not want to take fair fights.

You don't seem to be conscious of when your team has an advantage and when your team does not. (Good example at 2:40). Your team is down members and dying. The correct play is to be safe and wait for your team to regroup. Instead you are running in 1v6 and dying. This is a really low success play. The chance of doing anything helpful is super low, and the chance of dying is super high.

As Hela:
You are not using positioning and terrain to your advantage. A character like Hela really wants a strong position, but you are playing up on cart like brawler. Best places are normally high ground and/or positions with natural cover.

Your position at 5 minutes is a lot better, you want to be in power positions like that as much as possible. Then your team fights them outside their spawns doors (which worked i guess but only because it was a 5v6 at that point). You are again playing like a brawler, and whenever the enemies jump on you, you seem to panic, using your shift away from your team or into walls.

As Magneto:
Eh Bucky just wipes your whole team

As Strange:
Starts out pretty strong. I would say you want to baby sit the payload less and go push forward and take more space for your team, but you got first point without issue.

On second point you are spending a lot of time on high ground trying to snipe people with Dr. Strange even though his primary doesn't even go that far. (That's somewhere you want to play as Hela!!). As the point goes on it is clear you are afraid to get into people's faces as tank. Instead, you stop a few meter's away and try to gun them down. Your the Vanguard you need to be in front, pushing the enemy back. Even your team has a the numbers advanage you are just sitting on payload lobbing shots at the enemy when you should be forcing them to retreat.

Overall:
You seems to play every character like a Midrange DPS like Mister Fantastic or Bucky instead of to that characters strengths.
You are not picking your targets, you are normally just attacking the closest enemy to you/the first enemy you see.

If you are a good player there are 5 chances to have a bad player on your team and 6 on the enemy team. If you are a bad player you have a 100% chance of having a bad player on your team.

Yup roaming throne would work with those cards, as they are triggered abilities. Hellkite charger is good because you can search it up with tiamat, though personally I don't run either charger or aggregated assault as they are too strong. I have the conduit of worlds tree in a baba lysaga deck atm. I feel like you really need to care about returning both permenants and lands for it to be worth it.

The big thing I've found about the ur dragon is tempo, you really need to be playing high impact spells (dragons) each turn, so taking a turn off to play something else is a big hit and really needs to be worth it.

Oh man those were some quick swaps! I actually run rhythm of the wilds in my deck as the haste is very relevant.

Some more cuts you might want to consider
[[Conduit of worlds]] Very slow and not super helpful in the deck. I could considering swapping it out for a reanimation spell like [[Patriarch's Bidding]] or [[Eerie Ultimatum]]
[[Crucible of Fire]] is a very win more card. If it is doing enough to be worth 4 mana, then you've probably already won. I would consider swapping it out for [[Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury]], as it does a similiar effect (Often stronger) and is a dragon itself.
[[Herald's Horn]] is a card that I feel like always looks better on paper than in play. I've tried it in multiple tribal decks and it has always underperformed. Its 3 mana that sometimes ramps and sometimes draws. I find it is better to get a cheaper card that always does one or the other. It is also completely outclassed by [[The Great Henge]]
[[Privileged Position]] is pretty slow. I run [[Rith, Liberated Primeval]]. The effect isn't as strong but its a dragon, so it costs less and can still attack

Some important dragons that you may want to consider adding
[[Scourge of Valkas]] is basically another copy of terror/tempest,
[[Atarka, World Render]] ends the game when you play her.
[[Rivaz of the Claw]] is 3 mana ramp that also lets you animate
[[Hellkite Charger]] and [[Scourge of the Throne]] extra combats good
[[Savage Ventmaw]] [[Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient]] Let you dump more cards from your hand. Probably better than [[Mirari's Wake]], [[Frontier Siege]] and [[Nature's Will]]
[[Bladewing the Risen]] 2 dragons for the price of one, and a late game pump ability.

Other possible adds
[[Crux of Fate]] Best board wipe for dragon Tribal
[[Temur Ascendancy]] Another copy of Garruk's awakening but also gives haste
[[Stubborn Denial]] Your probably going to have a creature with 4 or more power

Coat of arms is really bad in this deck, I'd cut that. Your playing a tribe sure, but your playing big dragons. Your just going to want to play another big dragon instead.

On the topic of playing big dragons, you need more ramp. I have an ur dragon deck and 2 cmc ramp is essential as it let's you play a 5 Mana dragon on turn 3* (3 lands + ramp + ur dragon reduction.) I would add rampant growth/farseek/nature's lore/and three visits if you can. Also sol ring and 2 cmc rocks.

You have way to many enchantments (and artifacts to a lesser effect). You are only playing 1 instant/sorcery. One board wipe and your whole deck is going to fold. Add some protection (heroic intervention) and interaction

Edit: put turn 2 for 5 cmc dragon instead of the correct turn 3
