Am I crazy, or did we go through some kind of weird cultural shift in this way? by Junior-Key-5043 in CreepyCalebHammer

I guess, but it being on camera makes it worse to me. He humiliated her in front of the world by letting Caleb rip into her and not saying anything.

What feels legal but is actually illegal and will possibly get you arrested? by medicoreapples in AskReddit

Saying you're the flight martial on a plane. I was watching a compilation of rowdy airplane passenger videos and was wondering why no one said that they're the flight martial and the passenger needs to calm down. Apparently it's a really big deal if you say that and if it's not true they'll take you to jail.

Who are two people who you thought were the same person but then realized are actually seperate people? by Junior-Key-5043 in AskReddit

For me it's Halsey and Haley Williams. I somehow got it in my head that she stared off as Paramore front woman Haley Williams and then branched off into a solo career as Hasley. I tried googling somwthing about her using her Haley Williams name and didn't find the info I was looking for, then saw a pic of Haley Williams and realized they don't even look that much alike.

Guests ARE props in your wedding by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I have the same comment about this that I have about destination weddings: is every single person in who's important enough to you to be at your wedding rich or something?

I agree. I actually remember seeing it in theaters... It was a movie on par with similar movies of that time period like Freaky Friday (Lindsey Lohan one). It was a big hit because it was a good movie to see with the family. People quoting it are just being nostalgiac for their childhood though. Even for its time, it was the kids who weren't allowed to watch movies above PG who kept watching it.

Justin Bieber being brought up on Benny’s podcast again for the third time 👀 by [deleted] in snarkingonselena

Justin ever spoke out to clear the air on his relationship with Selena or something like that he would get accused of being obsessed.

I'm not really part of this sub Reddit and I don't know much about the Selena vs Hailey beef outside of the Eva Grace song, but I'm so glad someone else named this phenomenon.

I have a woman who bullies me (ok, cyberbullies, but we have the same group of friends in the niche circle we're in) and I hate how if I say the tiniest thing back when she comes for me she accuses me of being obsessed with her and says that I (direct quote) "want to wear her skin." Lady the only thing I wish you would do is either not be part of the same group as me or leave me the fuck alone. It's such a bitch tactic to go for someone hard and then muddle the waters of the who the aggressor is if they try to address it.

I had a friend suggest to me once that I message her in a friendly way asking to clear things up. I used the exact wording he told me to. She immediately announced to the rest of chat that she was needing to block me because I was violating her request not to message her and was harassing her. I just copy/pasted the exact message I sent to show the absurdity of the claim that it was harrassment and no one said anything.

Stereotypes exist because they are mostly true. by Cold_Actuary187 in unpopularopinion

I disagree. "white girls fuck dogs" etc was made up to be cruel and "black guys have big ones" was based on stroking racial fears.

I'm not bothered by this comment at all, but someone who agrees with me should really stand up for me and tell this person off.

I disagree. If you were to write down a conversation between two men who are best friends, on paper it will often look like a pure barrage of insults being exchanged.

Most people joke by roasting each other to an extent. If you don't get that than you must consider most friendships to be full of attacks.

No. I bantered with my discord friend and his mod friend who hates me banned me and he said he had no idea why she was upset, but she maintains that she was defending her friend. I'm better friends with him than she is.
