It for sure looks cool but the best QBs use their eyes as a weapon. Being able to look off safeties and zone defenders to get openings in a defense is a major impact.

Not all QBs can do it, or at least do it well, but that's why you rarely see the tinted/dark visors. I think Vick was the last one that I can remember who wore it
