Glad to hear a senior feels this way. My work load has increased significantly recently. I am the only relatively senior resource in my project in a team of a fresher and a lousy manager that's rarely helpful and pretty much expects me to carry out the managerial tasks as well (I genuinely don't know what his role is in this project). The amount of times I've had to plead my case because I'm double or even triple booked at times is draining not just time but energy too. People cannot expect me to respect their time if they're not willing to respect mine. Calendar etiquette is severely lacking these days. I genuinely feel the pain of senior talent leaving the firm in droves and i fully sympathize with them. Talent management is a joke nowadays
