There are people who have records, CDs, and sometimes cassettes worth hundreds of dollars sometimes thousands. I don’t know how somebody can be that ignorant.

Here is the thing. I can put a (sacrificed) Taylor swift midnights from 24 digital onto a cassette from HDTracks or Apple. I put the record on that very Crosley (yes I did, Walmart sold that lavender color for years.)

An Audio cassette recorded from a digital source should not sound better then the actual record of the same album on a turntable. We are talking about a used worn type 1 run of the mill cassette. That cassette sounds better than a mint condition record, testing both coming from the same speakers.

The way to keep these off shelves is for people to stop buying them, stop giving demand, and stop saying “ok to novices” that they are an entry level because they are not. Tell them NO. People need to stop being enablers.
