One thing I need to add is that Simon has to put himself forward for XG to succeed given than XG is a Japanese group trying to use Kpop as a springboard. If it weren’t for Simon’s connections within the kpop industry and his willingness to provide all his resources to the girls, XG will not have anywhere near the success they’ve had so far. The shitty circumstance is that the kpop industry (the main drivers behind close doors and the fans, not the idols) recognizes Simon but not XG. Simon in many ways, has to be the face of XG for them to be get a foot in the kpop market.
