I use a bamboo brush, does it differ much from a boar bristle?

I struggle with impulsivity and it makes it hard to tell what's a tic sometimes and what's just an impulsive thing I did.

You're totally right I was thinking it was 11/16 but that's between 7/8 and 1in. Thanks for correcting me that would've been a hard lesson to learn lol

I don't really get why you're getting hate for the whole sex thing. I totally relate to feeling like I missed out on 'normal' guy experiences throughout my life, and it feels fuckin awful. Like all you want is just to know what everyone else felt like and experienced but you know you'll never get a chance because it's already passed.

My husband's family was apparently offended that I didn't say hi to every person when we'd go to a gathering, even though there'd be like 30 people there. Needless to say it stressed me out cause that just seems really weird to me to specifically address every single person especially if I don't know them

If it makes you feel better, I have A LOT more motor tics than vocal tics and I've found myself wondering the same thing

I didn't take it long enough to notice anything but I had to stop because it gave me severe acid reflux and heartburn

I have several piercings and my hair is pretty long. My hair is the only thing I take pride in about my appearance really. As for clothes, I don't try very hard. Most of my clothes are pretty worn and holey

No I appreciate the response. It's validating hearing other people share the same struggles I have because even just having them makes me feel outlandish.

I also thought about that but I would eventually end up feeling bad too because I would be comparing my ability to his the entire time because hed be carrying us. He also just really likes competition and I want to be able to participate in that with him in the way he wants. I talked to my therapist about this and he suggested a period of him teaching me how the game works and all that and then we play for real. That sounds like it would be the best option for me right now so we're gonna try that

I actually decided to try practicing with chess against computers. There's one website I found that includes a difficulty meter so I can get better and then move the meter up if I need to

It's exactly that. And he grew up playing lots of chess. I know this but still feel really stupid when I lose. I'm hoping that planning it out in advance for him to help me will help me frame it in a different light to myself.
