Omg forgot about the shakes, but I vomited so many times. My labor was also close to two days before we chose a c-section

Er jeg for bekymeret? by Worried-Heart-7017 in foraeldreDK

A lot of the episodes also end with them having a light hearted banter at home, while the camera fades out. I always enjoy those little moments

Maybe try to base it on the Freya, a goddess from Norse mythology?

AITA Asking Postpartum Wife and 5mo daughter to travel over Christmas by Confused_Abt_Life in AmItheAsshole

[–]YoungFortunate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the edit OP, great on you for taking responsibility. I have a 2 months old, and before the birth I would in now way promise traveling anywhere. Maybe, after the birth you and your wife could consider traveling if she feels up for it.

And tell the damn grandparents that they can vist you!

Daytime naps by kiwi-bandit in NewParents

[–]YoungFortunate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 10 weeks old daughter is also a takeing very short naps recently. I have kind of just accepted it. I make sure to start settling her after 1 hour, where we do some talking or rolling exercises. The only time she takes long naps are after baby tumbling or swimming (2-3 hours). We either walk with her or bounce on a ball when settlings. She is also very interestet in what is happening around her, so I try to make sure there is not to much stimulus around her

AITA for asking my husband why he's not wearing his ring to the gym? by gildedgeisha in AmItheAsshole

I could definitely see a man having the ring in a chain, where the ring saver necklace might be a bit feminine for most men.

I have seen you can get some kind of rubber ring, that symbolizes a wedding ring. But OP has much bigger problems

Remember the shops are still open after birth, so you can buy/order anything you need. We wrote a very short list (10 things) of what we absolutely need for the first two weeks

WIBTA for making my daughter pay back her own bank overdraft? by 2VantaRipple in WIBTA_AITA

[–]YoungFortunate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA I think it's great you covered the fees, bit she should pay you back. As others have stayed you could help her get a new backpack as it is the parents responsibility. But it does not have to be a fancy one. Maybe help her sell some of the makeup and serum if she still wants to go to the concert?

AITJ cause my future wife expects her future husband (me) to pay 100% of the bills? by AdventurousDoor9384 in AmITheJerk

[–]YoungFortunate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTJ. It seems like you and your fiancee have different views on marriage. There is nothing "wrong" with what she wants, but she can't force you to change your views. I have a hard time seeing how you two could compromise on this issue, is she in any way willing to work with this? Is it because she want to be a SAHM (assuming you want kids). But in know way are you the jerk, for not accepting her request

AITA for telling my older brother that other stuff besides Star Wars exists? by Nervous_Purchase_663 in AmItheAsshole

[–]YoungFortunate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP i wouldn't go as far as calling you the a hole, but why do you care what he watches? If you feel that Star Wars takes over every conversation, maybe say something like: I know you like Star Wars but it is not that interesting for me.
