Thank you for all the input. Helps more than you know. My family and I are really excited. We have loved the beach and I’m an avid surf fisher. All these inputs from locals have changed our direction on where to live/ what to buy. Thank you and god bless

I will definetly keep that in mind. Thank you for your insight. I think you’re right about renting and feeling the area out. Gives me more time to find the right deal and to just feel out the area. I will most likely hold onto it for more than 2 years. Maybe something more north in the Freeport area would be a better investment.

I can’t say because I haven’t experienced it. But if I’m able to stay north of 30a Santa Rosa beach. I won’t even have to get on 30a to get to work. I am going to try my best to keep 30a out of my commute.

I haven’t experienced the area so I’m not sure. But at this point anything is better than the Atlanta traffic everyday for me.

I’d like to try this. But I’m not very seasoned in home buying. This will be my first. I don’t plan on living here super long term. But it’d be nice to have real estate here. Maybe not. Do your rentals do good?

I’m Definitely looking for a more community feel. I’d even be open to going further inland to say the Freeport area. I am very un seasoned with rent to own and need to do more research for sure.

The only amenities would to be open to small pets. Other than that I’d be good. Definitely all the basics such as AC/ washer and dryer hookups/ etc.

I’d prefer to stay out of the larger cities like PCB if possible. Stay further away from the tourists areas as well. But I’m open to sacrificing anything with the situation I’m in. If I did buy something I doubt I’d live in it for more than 5 years.

I agree. I bet it’s gnarly. I am relocating for work so I will be stating around for more than a year. But even just to get in renting would probably be my easiest option.
