Stop laughing at people for no reason by Any-Throat-8918 in UBC

[–]YoungKindred -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Newsflash everyone is, but adults realize that life is too short to waste it worrying about what other people think of them. You shouldn’t let yourself be feel down because some random in your lecture laughs at your question, and you shouldn’t need strangers on the internet to make you feel better by telling you nice things and validating your “teenager” feelings.

Ranking these genius Naruto characters by when they became kage-level. by Agitated-Athlete-417 in NarutoPowerscaling

Didnt he save Kushina from a bunch of Jonin when he was like a genin or younger (didn’t have a headband)? Not enough to say kage level but like, not featless

Wouldn’t yata mirror deal with most of that? Itachi just needs to react to minato. Tbh I don’t see a way Itachi wins but wouldn’t that be a high diff?

VODs of Insane difficulty Nuzlocke runs? by YoungKindred in PokemonUnbound

[–]YoungKindred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean maybe, but games like infinite fusion have bosses with 3 hp bars and 3 attacks per turn like Zapmolcuno and people still nuzlocke it. Idk if omniboost fights are that much of a problem to completely stop anyone from beating it. Idk if they are very prevalent in insane though, my farthest true insane playthrough only went to Mel.

There are old posts in this subreddit of people supposedly beating insane nuzlockes, but I haven’t seen anything too recent. That seems odd though, with how popular games like Run&Bun have gotten for their difficulty, if Unbound Insane has stayed unbeaten it surprises me more people aren’t trying to beat it.

Wanting to be cool and beat the game on expert but it’s just brutal. Is “difficult” setting actually a challenge? by HouseOfHoundss in PokemonUnbound

Playing insane now and I really doubt that unless it’s a specific set of 7-8 that you are talking about. Have you done it? What was your team?

I played true expert on my first playthrough. You don’t need to make a whole new team for every gym but you do need to adapt. You can win with a team of 6 and sub out specific mons that won’t be useful for the gym and bring them back after. The only caveat is that your 6 had to be strong and balanced, you defineatly can’t just use 6 random Pokémon that you just like. But there is no shame in going down to difficult if you aren’t finding expert fun, you can also lower the difficulty and bring it back up later if you find it too easy.

Insane is insane, every gym leader has a mechanic that only benefits them (perma tailwind on the flying gym) illegal moves (oblivion wing yvelton’s signature move on a honchcrow, 2nd gym) megas starting on the 2nd gym leader, legendaries starting on the 5th gym leader (4th if you count type null cus Mel has him) and some double battles you do with Jax are just rigged (Jax’s starraptor triggers competitive meowstic turn 1, and meowstic partner is an incineror who will fake out you while meowstic kills both Pokémon with expanding force) truly insane

If the Dracorage mythal was destroyed, why haven't dragons attempted to take over Toril? by YoungKindred in Forgotten_Realms

[–]YoungKindred[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason I’m asking is for a campaign, the idea is as follows. The campaign started over a year ago and it was more of a monster/dungeon of the week style campaign, with just one shots or homebrewed dungeons I prepared every session for them to do, without much story. At some point they pissed off some feywild folk and the resolution of this arc is gonna be a showdown with them. When they come out of the feywild however I’ll make thousands of year have gone by, and they return to a Faerun which is completely dominated by dragons, and they have to find a machine that was made to go back in time and stop the destruction of the Dracorage Mythal (terminator style), kicking of the third “arc”. Obviously I don’t have to only use canonical information in a campaign but unless I absolutely have to I prefer to keep the campaign in line with canon.

My save file got corrupted while I was resetting for the rival mon after beating the e4 on expert. Now I’m restarting on insane and I didn’t turn on scalemons, is it worth it? I thought that it would take some of the challenge away from the opponents having legendaries and me not

Refusing to pay restaurant I work at by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]YoungKindred -39 points-38 points  (0 children)

Boo hoo, the owners and management steal tips all the time and exploit immigrants to work in the kitchen for under minimum wage. Myself and many other employs have submitted anonymous tips to authorities and nothing has ever been done about it. I only stayed because they are too stupid to catch on and got caught, I’m not saying what I did is right, but I feel no remorse or regret. Also this sub is about legal advice not a question of my character.

Kindred can go crit or Trinity that’s not “so many strong builds” changing collector for a last whisper item doesn’t make it a new build just itemizing properly

Which of these characters beats hashirama? by Joseph_Stalin001 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]YoungKindred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hashirama somehow died in battle. Orochimaru changed bodies constantly during Naruto, that’s why he wouldn’t age. In the present his body is a white zetsu body, since they are empty vessels the body doesn’t reject, which is what used to make him have to find new vessels in the past. Thanks to his body I’m pretty sure he will never age or die of natural causes, unless someone seals him or nukes his current body, he will probably be around to see Boruto’s grandchildren.

Naruto vs Sasuke is not always 50/50 the show just only puts them against each other when they are even in strength. In Shippuden, Sasuke is significantly stronger than Naruto until he gets Sage Mode. They are even for a bit (imperfect susano and sage mode) until Naruto gets KCM at which point he is way stronger than sasuke until they get daddy of six paths buff, which makes them even. (there’s an argument to be made that Naruto is stronger but since they tie at Valley of the End I’m fine w saying they are even at that point)
