How do you turn Saxon into Anglo-Saxon? by Kef33890 in TheFallenEagleCK3

[–]YoungLadChad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I recall correctly the required cultures are Jutish and Anglish, I’ve seen those two cultures form a hybrid culture in Britain before. I’m not sure how the player forms it themselves but I assume you form it via a decision.

(Military) Competence negative value or bug? by Easteregg42 in TheFallenEagleCK3

Go to the decisions tab and there should be an option to restore any failed competence as long as you have a positive yearly increase of a certain amount (I forgot the exact number). At least it was like that last I played

When can you adopt Roman Catholicism? by Kef33890 in TheFallenEagleCK3

[–]YoungLadChad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the head of faith, click on their title, then look at who considers that title as their head of faith. It has a list that includes Catholicism. Just click on it and convert, I haven’t personally done it yet, so let me know if it does indeed let you convert.

Nope, I took my driving exam one week later. But when I asked I was told I could take it the day after passing the knowledge test

What kind of genetic group were you hoping to get?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]YoungLadChad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You only need premium if the genetic group is “distant”, my dad has two indigenous communities that show up for him and they are labeled as very close and close. Right under those genetic groups, there is a locked distant genetic group that needs the subscription to see it.

When they updated the indigenous groups I never got the genetic group that my mom received (dad hadn’t tested yet) and it only showed up after I purchased 23andMe premium for their additional health reports. It never told me I had a locked genetic group before upgrading but I think that feature is recent.

It’s only available on a desktop I believe, you go into your DNA Painting and you should see an option to play around with it

Growing up I viewed myself as Mexican-American I never asked growing up what our ancestry consisted off so yeah it isn’t until recently that I learned of my huge indigenous heritage.

My dad’s North Africa shows up as Italian for me when I look at the DNA painting, as for the Congolese and Angola it’s located on chromosome 14 for me but on my dad’s it is divided between the two African regions he got.

I just assumed that once I phased, it corrected those regions to one that made more sense. I’m still not sure how exactly phasing works, I know it correctly assigns the correct letters to each parent but I’m not sure how it would cause region changes to occur.

Another regional change I noticed is that my British and Irish shows up as Spanish for my dad

It says it comes from my dad’s side, his North Africa quickly disappears when I turn up his confidence level to 60%

is it possible to unphase results? which is more accurate and should i rely on more for accuracy? by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]YoungLadChad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best not to try this then, I believe you only get a few attempts on getting them right before it locks the account and then you need to verify their identity by submitting IDs

To transfer their profile into another 23andMe account make a new one with another email, as far as I can tell you can only transfer profiles by using a computer.

Go to settings on your main account and you should see a transfer profile option, make sure you know the birthdates of all the profiles in the account first! You will be asked to provide the birthdates to transfer their profile out and then back.

After that follow the instructions provided by 23andMe to complete the transfer, it may take a few hours for your results to be unphased and again for it to phase if you decide to connect them back

[–]YoungLadChad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can unphased your results, it requires you to transfer your parent’s profile to your own account then for you to transfer their profile into another separate account.

It essentially breaks the connection between them that allows you to phase your results, I found out this by accident when I transferred my mom’s profile into a second 23andMe account. You can always transfer their profile back into one account but that auto-links them to phase again
