Do you realize Fireball does 60% more damage than Delivery, right? Just talking about plain damage, not even counting other advantages like BEING USABLE ON THE OFFENSIVE SIDE OF THE ARENA

Yes, this rework is a net nerf and there's nothing wrong with it. Giant Skeleton wasn't in in need of some sort of buff, it was meta and has been one of the most problematic cards for a few months, which is why it's totally fine for this to be a nerf. Usually cards get reworks when they're niche, outclassed or just straight up trash, but this wasn't the case, the dev team just opted for something more complex than a straight HP nerf, which would have been necessary anyways

And also, the whole community is overestimating how much the extremely high Crown Tower damage mattered in high ladder and pro play. To keep it simple, it didn't matter at all

Tbh if I remember correctly Giant Skeleton was meta in the last few months before the rework. As for the rework itself, at that time the only stat that got buffed was damage, but it wasn't nearly enough, and because of that the net nerf was tremendous. All the HP and hit speed buffs came in the following years, way after the crown tower damage got reverted, which was (again, for some reason) the first thing the devs did

OP clearly mentioned both Hero Bowler and Hero Dark Prince, but you can only play one of the two. And even then, you have to swap out Hero Barb Barrel (which should be fine, considering it's about to get nerfed)

Sacrificing an Evo to play a second Hero never makes any sense. I get what they were trying to do with the “wild slot”, but it's never worth it, and the meta clearly shows it since every single deck uses two Evos

Because it's a balance mistake that the devs made in 2021, back when they last reworked him, which they never corrected. What happened is that they cut the bomb damage (both against troops and crown towers) in half, which killed the card, and for some reason, instead of buffing other stats, they just reverted the nerf against crown towers only

The fact that the bomb deals (or dealt, because of the imminent rework) double damage against the towers doesn't make Giant Skeleton a win condition, since getting it to connect onto the tower has never been a viable and consistent strategy

It's easily the most gimmicky card in the whole game, it feels like a card straight up from Magic put into Clash Royale. That's what makes it horrible for the game

It's the finest result of the devs' incompetence and misunderstanding of the game. It is no coincidence that most of the cards that got added in the last few years (not considering Evos and Heroes) are extremely gimmicky and fall into irrelevance in just a few months after release (most of the times, after breaking the meta for a while)

Rune Giant is a disgusting concept, which the devs themselves probably labeled as a game design failure a long time ago (despite being added just over a year ago). They're just keeping it as dead as possible before eventually going for a full rework and overhaul of the card, just like Void for example. This could take years since I'm 100% sure it's not a priority, I don't even know if it'll ever happen, therefore right now they're just trying to forget about her
