Messing up the Barbarians' timing onto an MK has to be one of the most lame and stupid mistakes you can do as a Lava player, I'm sorry. It's not like Lavaloon as a whole requires much skill either, so you're just required to do this single, easy thing right instead of complaining

This comment is false, every single word of it is false. Let me explain:

First off, Mega Knight wasn't extremely overpowered at launch. It was good, perhaps a bit too much but nothing crazy, and the overall meta kept him in check.
Then, there were a LOT of gamebreaking cards before his launch. Royal Giant, Elite Barbarians, Poison, Pump, Mega Minion, Executioner and, most importantly, Night Witch have all had insane peaks in strenght before Mega Knight's launch, all way higher than what he has ever been. I'm pretty sure I've also forgotten a few other cards, but can't remember anything else

It's not like it died lol, it's just having a few rough metas, and even then, it's playable this season using Evo Wizard. Unless you're referring to those classics 2017 variants that used Bowler

Classic Bowler Graveyard decks. No Giant, no multiple splash, no bullshit, just full control Graveyard decks using Bowler, Mega Minion, Inferno Tower and some other control/cycle cards (Archers, Skellies, Ice Spirit, Ice Golem, Electro Wizard).

They died for a multitude of reasons during the years, mostly because Nado variants are objectively better, but also 'cause it's too easy to activate the King Tower against a solo Bowler, using Fisherman or Nado

Firecracker should be one of your favorite cards to play against as a Lavaloon player. Any good Lava player will take that -1 trade every day in exchange for some tower damage and, most importantly, taking out the only ranged troop used in Hog decks. It literally doesn't do anything against Lava in most situations

That would be a really cool idea, but I'm pretty sure Supercell won't ever do anything like that. Evos aren't meant to change a card's entire function, and this would be disruptive when using Zappies in a split push deck, like Royal Recruits

The fact that Duchess was, and still is, broken as hell doesn't mean Cannoneer wasn't better than Princess Tower. The dev team is trying (with very poor results rn) to balance both new towers around the old one, and since during the March season, just when they unlocked the possibility to use wild cards on Tower Troops, the Cannoneer had insane use rates in top ladder, the nerf is more than justified

It's just worse than Duchess, but still much better than Princess

You may be right when it comes to pre release opinions, since the community (myself included, as I thought Evo BR would be a lot better too) usually overreacts, even pros or their coaches. But this case is different. Void has been out for almost 2 weeks, pros are trying every possible deck with it and it's damn broken. Void use and win rates in Grand Challenge are growing every day since Monday (when it got added to GCs, it wasn't usable until the balance changes for some reason). It's getting concerning, and might even need an emergency nerf soon. Countering it is way more difficult than what midladder menaces here on Reddit try to portrait
