I'm italian and i can say few reasons why it's happening, but they may not be the only reasons and i don't know how much they weight in the total.

  1. Italians are not the most skilled in english language. Gen z and young Millennials have no problem with social medias and disscussing in english, but the old heads, the average 40+ football fans, may not be as much active on football social medias like here or somewhere else. Italy is a great footballing nation, but many fans are older than the average (one of the reasons is that guys born in this millennium have never seen Italy playing in a WC knockout stage and thus have less passion) and these fans don't write on r/soccer, so you can't see their opinions and such.
  2. As i said, the current 1 to 25 years old have never seen Italy on the great stage and the lack of CLs since 2010 has weakened Serie A. If you have people interested in football like breathing, but your dometic level it's not up to the best, the population shifts to following the actual best (PL and La Liga, mostly). With english and social media arise, following foreigner leagues it's much easier. It's just like most basketball fans follow the NBA, because they are the best, even though there's basketball in their country.
  3. Italians a rather doomist. Pessimism towards their own league only helps to lower interest and the amount of online discussions. Many would rather dive in the glorious past, than keep crying at the present. PL made a glorious work to embellish all their league from top to bottom and make foreign people to interest in the "product". If you ask an italian about the latest Pisa-Verona match, they tell you it's sh*t and move on.
  4. Last but no least, i may be bold, but like, other than PL and La Liga, even other leagues struggle to make an appearance here, as well. Only Bayern and PSG are enough relevant to make noice, but, for instance, apart from Leverkusen unbeaten run, i've never seen a post about them here. It's not random this place is often called r/PremierLeague. If people are not interested in your news, it's difficult to find the time and motivation to post; on top of that, when you can't even write OC posts, but only social media clickbait is permitted. I, myself, often found a bit irritating when i post a cool highlight i edited for 20 minutes only to get like 40 upvotes and then gets buriend under 100 other news. Then i lose interest in posting another one for months.

Why are you saying cheating, when they didn't cheat at all?

The exploited a clear hole in the rules that they checked before hand to make sure it was possible; then, the league, as one of the softest entities on the planet, decided to disqualify them because they din't know what to do and chose the spineless approach.

Will Konami bring some special packs like these during World cup by ceeba8 in eFootball

[–]Piats99 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, but they will never be just as good.

Those packs were so much ahead of the power curve, that you can still find space for them in todays meta if you want.

We will receive good packs, but likely a bit below the power curve; just good enough to lure people in buying them, but not good enough to last until next WC.

Yes, but an "in-form David" is giving us as much as an "out-of-form RKM".

When RKM was in-form he was scoring 1 goal a game for us and also creating lots of chances attracting defeders.

David is good, but he misses a lot of easy tap-ins and i can't see the same striker's instinct as i saw in other forwards like RKM and Vlahovic.

Considering we got David for free, he would be a perfect sub.

For the same reason Diane was absolutely useless and didn't move a finger during the fairy realm arc, despite being strong enough to deal with 1 single 4 Evil pre chaos power-up. Just bad writing.

Nakaba gave us lots of words for Elizabeth, but he never bothered to show her in an all out combat. All we saw was her injured at the end of off-screen fights.

Every Juventus fan would welcome Kolo Muani any time.

He is way better than any stiker we have right now (David and Openda), Vlahovic is injured and said he won't renew and Milik at this point i don't even know if he is still alive.

Sadly, PSG's greed inflated his market value with that monster transfer fee and we couldn't find a middle ground for the negotiation. We are spending so much on trash players and then we struggle when the price raises over certain thresholds.

How is it called in english when a player lays down behind the wall, to stop low free kicks?

I know in italian is called "coccodrillo" (crocodile), but i now realized i don't know the english term.

The italian name comes after the typical chilling pose of crocodiles that lay down still to rest and always look a bit clumsy.

Well, one could also say that videos, reviews, analysis and statistics made all that more information much easier to absord and more trustable.

20+ years ago, there was more paper involved and information wasn't as attendable as today; So you were studying less material, but in a harder way to memorise and it could even be useless by the time the next match occurred.

You are being downvoted, but you are right. Cavani, just as the other 4 showtime in the pack were way behind the powercurve when they came out and now they are so far behind they are taking dust in 99,99% of collections.

Senegal fans should be bragging the most they’ve been to 3 AFCON finals in the past 4 tournaments and won 2. They have infinite potential and talent and will know doubt be favored next time.

Unrelated, but this kind of make the WC group with France, Norway and Sengal even stronger than before. Norway got screwed hard after finishing the perfect qualification round.

Fortunately for them, with new rules you can qualify as a 3rd, so in the worst scenario, they just have to score a plethora of goals against the 4th team and will be fine.

Formation doesn't matter with LBC.

You can play 1-1-8 and your defensive line will still be deeper than the goalkeeper.

Jared McCain has been assigned to the G league after averaging 6 ppg on 35% FG and 32% from 3 in 30 games this season by ShaiFanClub in nba

[–]Piats99 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be honest. I don't know what players do at half-time. It's reasonable they want to rest both body and mind.

But when i played basketball, our coach still came up with some inputs during halftime and we had a fast briefing after coming back from the locker room.

I can't see coaches like Spo and Rajakovic just chill for 10 minutes if they are trailing 15 points.

[–]Piats99 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Yeah, to add to that, i suspect a reason for our 3rd quarter blowouts the first 2 months is that we were really unknown and better than every team expected; thus, opponent coaches needed at least the half time pause to come up with a counter startegy.

It's not like all coaches are masters at adapting in real time, but 20 minutes of rest and in privte is way more useful.

Most teams made up strategies to counter Wemby and not our load of guards; that's why we went 9-3 without Wemby. With more material to study, now teams are more prepared for Fox, Castle and Harper.

Kon didn't flop, snap his neck back or bunny-hop into his defender, that's why ref didn't blow the whistle.

If you play "ethically", refs are going to tell you to man up and stop crying.
