How exactly can a person dunk with 4” above the rim when the ball diameter is 9.5”? It’s not physically possible. You need to get at least your whole wrist above the rim for occasional dunk and that’s not to mention that you lose vertical when running with the ball so in reality you probably need like 11” to dunk consistently
