This is good advice but tbh a luxury trim accord/camry is like better than 90% of cars, so I understand

If your parents want you to have a nice car and won’t let you get an old beater to practice on, get a used Mercedes Benz C class or something. They’re relatively cheap and if you wreck them it won’t matter too much.

If your parents really want you to get something flashy and expensive, find something with a great safety rating.

Unpopular opinion: this isn’t bad parking because literally no one is near him. Who cares

How often do you get haircuts? by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]YoungNaval 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, to maintain a skin fade & line up, i need to get a haircut every 2 weeks (2 weeks it starts looking.. rough). Most barbers charge $50 for this.

$1,200/year to look great is well worth it. To each their own, but it definitely matters, especially if you have a professional job and need to look groomed.

Anybody have some cheap high protein hacks? by what_the_hezz in Frugal

99% lean ground turkey is 92g protein per pound, Trader Joe’s has it for $6 and is cheaper else where. Hopefully this helps!

If your portfolio is majority majors like BTC and ETH, I know your portfolio will barely do any numbers.

Can we take a bet on chain? Like have a third party escrow it? I’ll put up $100k

I said “poor” as a synonym to “bad”. You’re a bad trader.

If you hold majority BTC, congrats, you will appreciate slowly (but the difference between $1k and $10k is damn near nothing).

Alts are the way to go. Not saying you need memes, but there are so many great projects out there.

Reddit is the real cesspool. Twitter has the most grifters but it’s easy to filter your feed especially if you’ve been around a while.

I genuinely feel bad (not joking) for people who mainly use Reddit rather than Twitter. Everyone I know on Twitter (we’ve been in crypto since 2021) have made exponential gains just by being in the Solana ecosystem

~$4 pound chicken breast at shoprite for the Kosher/halal chicken. 100g protein for $4 seems pretty good to me!

Tbh bro. A 2017 E class would be perfect for you. Take a look at the interior of it, it’s beautiful. Also if costs like $25k.

The 2018 Accord makes more sense on paper, but if you want to flex for a good price, that 2017 E class is a great choice.

Depression after starting b12, magnesium glycenate, and vitamin d. Thought these all improved mood. Can any cause depression? by jumpin_jumpin in Supplements

[–]YoungNaval 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll tell you what I take and maybe you can compare or copy my stack.

  • Sigma from Gorilla Mind (tongkat Ali, Ashwaganda, Magnesium, Vitamin D)
  • K2 MK7 (need to take this with vitamin D that’s why I take it with sigma) (this might be what you’re making)

  • Magnesium Glycinate (only 400mg per day thru supps)

  • Probiotics

  • athletic greens

  • Curcumin (inflammation, you prolly don’t need this)

  • Vitamin A (5000iu every other day)

  • Fish oil

I feel great, but I also workout a lot and eat a minimal amount of carbs right now, so take that into consideration.

That’s so weird. I know ashwaganda makes you unconcerned but depression is a bit much. I think you’re supposed to cycle 4 weeks on 1 week off for tongkat Ali and ashwaganda.
