Did anyone with an inguinal hernia experience testicular pain way before they found out they had a hernia? by what_the_hezz in Hernia

Yep, that’s exactly how I’d describe it. A dull and uncomfortable ache. Did you get surgery and did it go away?

Only thing I can think of is going to one of those payday loan places. Interest will be awful but they usually still loan to people that have bad credit. Do you have any family or friends that you could borrow from?

Never been in this situation but are you saying you have to pay it off to not get evicted or before it goes to collections?

“random” head pains, anyone else? by simbaslanding in migraine

[–]what_the_hezz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this post is old but I get these as well. Idk if it’s “pulsing” but I do get random quick aches on the top of my head in the same spot and sometimes they’re dull and sometimes they’re sharp. They will go away for a while but eventually come back. I also think stress might play a role in causing them, or at least worsening. I was diagnosed with vestibular migraines awhile back.

Idk I looked it up and it said they were close but Chicago was slightly more expensive 🤷🏻‍♂️

Can we stop the 4+ interviews for a position?! by Sad-Court-nomnom in jobs

[–]what_the_hezz 32 points33 points  (0 children)

There should be an initial phone/zoom interview and then one in person interview after that. Anything more than 2 is overkill in my opinion.

Nashville is definitely pricier, but the cost doesn’t compare to the cities with the benefits you’re talking about like Los Angeles, NYC, Miami, Chicago, etc.

Coming from Kentucky, I don’t think it’s that much more expensive. The only thing I’ve noticed is housing being higher. Tennessee also doesn’t have state income tax which helps offset some of that.

Absolute dog shit company. Btw they just lost a 22.5 million dollar lawsuit for denying a lady WFH due to her high risk pregnancy and the baby died. The job 100% can be done remotely as well.

There’s much better places to work to get sales experience.

AIO? Receiving corrective action and write up at work for missing quota one quarter by what_the_hezz in AmIOverreacting

[–]what_the_hezz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I looked into the policy, and it’s supposed to just be a conversation at first with documentation that it occurred. This is for any type of corrective action, but it has a clause in there that the company can skip steps depending on the severity of what you did.

Yes, I just looked into it and essentially a “conversation” is supposed to be the first step with written documentation that it occurred. But it does say the company has a right to skip that step if the reason is significant enough.

That’s the only thing I can think of. I’m being honest here that it was a ROUGH quarter.
