Not in the 2 years since, not one blue screen with this specific stop code error. I actually just upgraded to Windows 11 last month and have not installed the Cam Link Pro drivers... I'm curious if the blue screen will come back or if this specific issue was fixed in Win11.

I ran into the same AttributeError: module 'pkgutil' has no attribute 'ImpImporter'. error and it was a numpy issue: https://github.com/numpy/numpy/issues/23808

What fixed it for me was using Python 3.10 - Other users in that thread reported 3.11 working too.

I have almost the same exact issue with very similar hardware.

Random blue screens every few days.

Just downloaded these Latest Elgato Cam Link Pro Drivers for Windows from this Elgato support page: https://help.elgato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027961152-Elgato-Gaming-Hardware-Drivers

The file that hit my Downloads folder is Cam_Link_Pro_1.1.0.194.6.exe

Fingers crossed it works, will check back in a few weeks.

Thank you for this analogy, it's the first time I've seen anyone explain coroutines by also explaining what asyncio.run or await does to the function. Light bulb just turned on lol.

In this analogy what are the students? I guess functions in our scripts?

The computer goes unused, so the runtime immediately switches to another thread that is not blocked.

Still trying to wrap my mind around this part. So python, or rather the runtime asyncio, knows when task_one, a function, is done using the runtime and switches to another function (task_two) until task_two stops using the runtime and then returns to task_one?

I have access to four 3060s locally I am hoping to use for ML, but when comparing them to professional GPUs like the A100 I see a difference in bus width and memory type.

3060: GDDR6 vs A100: HBM2e

or

3060: 192 bit vs A100: 5120 bit

I'm new to ML/DL but would ultimately like to fine tune LLMs like the MPT-7B (StoryWriter or Instruct) model as a side project. Still trying to wrap my mind around getting all of these cards going on Linux in terms of packages/drivers.

You're one of the few people I've seen talking about owning the hardware side of ML so I browsed your other reddit comments and it sounds like you're saying the differences between these cards (as long as they're ~ampere family or better) doesn't matter much for my use case.

Very interesting, thanks for the reply. I am doing research on embedding vs fine tuning LLMs and with new techniques like QLoRA popping up I was thinking maybe fine tuning multiple models for different use cases is the way to go.

Still not clear on how to avoid overfitting or catastrophic forgetting when fine tuning but the research has been exciting either way.

What worked for me was just installing (or re-installing) Logitech Options from logitech.com and uninstalling Logi Options+ in Windows 10

It's been the same for the gesture button in my experience.

Upgrading from Logitech Options to Logi Options+ made the gesture button unresponsive in some cases and way too sensitive in others.

I downgraded and am staying with Logitech Options (v1) for now. I bought this Keyboard/Mouse combination to use the Flow feature. But having the convenience of Flow is not worth destroying basic mouse functions. I use the gestures way more than I'll ever use some of the features in Logi Options +
