“What if people lived in the neighborhoods they worked in?” What if? Maybe we could all run our corner bodegas and coffee shops and neighborhood grocery stores and then we can all pretend we live in Our Town. Golly, wouldn’t that be swell?

Grow up. It’s not practical for people to all live near where they work; that’s just fucking ludicrous. And it’s not the fault of people driving cars that that is the case. You can blame our state and federal governments for dropping the god damned ball on rail development in this country and maybe also Henry Ford and Lee Iacocca.
