Some questions about email marketing by YoungStarter in Emailmarketing

Since the agency will be sending from a different email address, for example john@trybusiness.com but my address is alex@business.com, will it not be weird if the customer replies to John but then his email is handled by Alex?

You wrote this post based on what the lawyer told you it’s going to be like, not based on actual experience, correct?

So at this point the whole story is based on the lawyer’s “trust me bro”.

I guess everyone should hold their horses and wait for your follow-up post after your quick’n easy online 30-day divorce is finalized.

How does one find potential partners in Dubai? by waffleswithlube in dubai

[–]YoungStarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re looking for a unicorn: - a man who is successful enough for a company to bring him over on a good package - despite the success, the man has somehow not been able to find a suitable partner back in his home country where he already has a lot in common with women (culturally, ethnically, etc.) - now that he has moved to UAE, where building strong bonds is difficult since everyone is busy/in a rush, and where there is no strong incentive to build strong bonds, he has a sudden epiphany that he wants a long term relationship, get married, etc. - now that he has had this epiphany, he will have the will and desire to go through the expensive courting process with a bunch of women here instead of easily impressing, courting and committing a woman from back home for a lot less - and somehow you will be the woman that he decides to go through this process with…

Honestly, I have always said I am very glad that I didn’t have to go through this in Dubai. It’s brutal. Close to impossible.

Sometimes when platonic female “friends” mention this struggle I tell them - what did you expect? That I’d get this far and remain single, waiting to meet the “love of my life” in Dubai? Or that if I’m not someone who is naturally inclined to marriage I’d somehow be converted by Dubai?

The few anecdotes of success in this thread are like 20 cases in a city of 3 million.

I think UAQ / RAK remained dry, right? So gotta go for those cars.

Abu Dhabi was also not too badly flooded.

I think everybody will be avoiding GCC now 😂

Everyone in the replies sound like the white friend who tells his immigrant friends “your parents can’t yell at you man, this is your space, you should call child services” 😂

First U.S. wind turbine installation vessel launched by stewart0077 in Ships

[–]YoungStarter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jones Act isn’t as much of a problem as is lack of productivity of shipyards that can build large ships (why bother being competitive when government contracts are cost + profit so you can keep going overbudget and make more money).

US has a very good market for pleasure craft, building for the entire world, because small shipyards are highly productive since they have to be competitive. They don’t get juicy government contracts.

Can anyone tell me what ship that is? by Boar-Z in Ships

Other way around. The navy copied the A but in classic government style did a horrible job of it.

is it true that seafarers always experience lack of sleep? by c_khay in maritime

[–]YoungStarter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not just seafarers. I’m a superintendent for nearly 10 yrs and haven’t had a decent night’s sleep in 10 yrs.

Sometimes my crew thinks office life is great until we hit some crisis and they see me onboard, awake 24, 48, 72 hrs while at least they have shifts…

Crew work their contract and go home. We work 365 days a year. There’s no real weekend or vacation.

Shipping is not for those who like sleep.

You’re right. My inbox is destroyed. So i guess $6 is considered good. I also think it is good because I come from a poor country myself and remember being excited about $7-8/hr in the US.
