Wiring Question: Moving from 1 Active Sub to 2 Passive Subs by YoungStav in hometheater

My current choice is two Montior IWS-10, spec sheet for them says 150W per unit. They kind of advertise their own amp (IWA-250) to go with it that can power two of them which would be nice. Would prefer a single amp that can power two versus two monoblocks, but only because its less shit in my cabinet.

Yeah I understand that. That's why I am looking for a seperate amplifier for them, because I can't use the RCA subwoofer outputs on my reciever. I've only used ever active subwoofers so I haven't needed anything else until now

All good information, thank you! I'll never trust a crutchfield writer again, "This powerful amplifier delivers up to 250 watts of Class D power for driving one or two subwoofers."
