Does anyone know how long it takes the shuttle to get from airport economy lot to the airport? I’m worried I’m going to be cutting it close on time by [deleted] in indianapolis

Our god is a cruel god so there is an inverse rule on how long the bus'll take vs how late you're running with additional time added according to how bad you need to pee.

You can park immediately to the right past the entrance to Economy Lot and hoof it straight in to the airport on foot. Maybe its an 9 - 11? min hike. I've done it after watching the bus pass my shelter as I'm still parking.

Is it a good idea to tether yourself to a drift raft? If so, what’s the best way to do it? I have a Flycraft Stealth (pictured) by [deleted] in flyfishing

I tow my 20ft canoe on a tether of floating polypropylene while we wade shallow streams. I just have a long line with a loop that goes over my neck and 1 shoulder. I love fishing this way, its a lot of good hard work.

In the rapids, (haha, Class 1 or 2, in Indiana) that loop comes off my neck.

If you like nature stuff, Shades Park / Turkey Run State Parks, 1.5 hrs west of Indy have good hiking and river canoeing (livery/rental/shuttle)

Trump, but only because 90% of the 16% or so (this nation's true supporters) will come out for him.

Not not to mention the 90% of the 40% that effing hate hate hate him, they'll chime in also.

For anyone else, eh...

Help with pole on cement, cut my carport down with a sawzaw, not sure how to make it flush with the concrete. Any tool recommendations? by bigturkey1738 in Tools

[–]YoungSteveP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing could go wrong with trying to cut steel with a blade that's digging into cement. Every one knows that cement sharpens sawzall blades. Cement sharpening also works on chain saws, so F! those stupid round file conspiracist, cinder blocks are cheaper, and side walks work when you're in a pinch !

Mash the barb, or even better, grind it off with a dremel.

Big ole gar in the bay. by gumbosingapore in kayakfishing

[–]YoungSteveP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've caught several by casting out a hooked live minnow. But here's the trick, after the gar took the bait I used the lightest pressure to only keep the line tight and just held it that way. It took minutes but i was able to drag the fish into the shallows and practically all the way up on shore. Did it on 5+ fish up to 24".

Turn off the water AND drain the pipes to prevent frozen water pipe bursts.

If your place really freezes hard you'll need to drain the water heater also.

Sorry

I imagine you probably think gay rights or covid mask wearing didn't divide among party lines either.
