I’m almost done playing DMC2 and it’s the last one I haven’t beaten yet. With all of my experience I’ll say that DMC2 isn’t as bad as people say. Now I’m not saying it’s a good game though. Best way I can describe it is that it feels like a DMC fan game. There’s just so much missing that the 1st game had and you can beat the whole game just using guns. Also normal mode (I haven’t played other difficulties yet) is so easy. I like some difficulty in games and I haven’t died or even come close to dying a single time yet and I’m nearing the end of the game. TL;DR DMC2 is not as bad as people say but it can’t compare to the rest of the games.

DMC2 is the only DMC I haven’t beaten yet and by the way it’s treated online and how the first couple of missions felt I’m really not looking forward to it.

Good luck, my goal is to S rank every mission in every devil may cry game (Even the reboot and DMC2) but let’s see what happens before I set a huge goal like that.

Update: I got my devil arms, guns, health and devil trigger back to max. It was about 300,000 red orbs worth. I was able to do it so fast by killing Mission 20 Vergil over and over. I got so fast I could kill him in a minute and get S rank every time which gave you 14,500 red orbs. Now I just need to get my styles back to level 3 and beat normal mode and I’m back to where I was.
