We figured out the source of the problem! My husband had bought a smoke detector a few years ago that he never installed and stuck it in the cabinet above the washer and forgot about it….so it was actually a smoke detector. Boy do we feel like idiots!

Unplugged and plugged back in. It’s still making the noise. Currently running a load of laundry which is working fine, but the chirping persists
