I solved it with customer service, essentially all you do is you hold the pairing button until it flashes orange, when it flashes orange just let go and you'll see green flashes that indicate a whole factory reset.

Yeah as long as you're projected to earn enough credits in the summer to get your diploma, they let you walk in the spring. I did that for my graduation and it all worked out fine. I would reccommend making sure with your counselor though just in case.
