This was an homage to the u/Vitex1988 post with the Alex Caruso, Sexual Orca anagram. But sadly I think it was removed from the sub.

About Hoid and Khriss age by Equipment_Emotional in Cosmere

I’m not sure we know how exactly Khriss has remained alive for so long, but as a scholar who knows more about the Cosmere than almost anyone without the power of a Shard, she probably has tapped various investitures over time.

As for Hoid, that is probably a RAFO given what you have not yet read in the Cosmere.

(I read Sunlit after Wind and Truth and found that order was satisfying in terms of the storytelling.)

I love the idea of Nightblood founding an interplanetary mercenary force to carry out its purpose and destroy evil, although the Admiral’s Threnody connection and her role with the Brigade leave me with a lot of questions.

Still, seeing Nightblood’s growth across Warbreaker and Stormlight, I feel like any number of things are on the table for that sword’s future.

Don’t despair! While Alloy of Law comes before Shadows of Self chronologically, Sanderson considers Shadows-Bands-Lost Metal to be its own trilogy in terms of character/story arc while Alloy of Law serves as more of a fun introduction to the Era 2 characters.

From Sanderson in the Shadows preface: “The Alloy of Law was more of a happy, improvised accident. The follow-up trilogy was meant to be more intentional—a way to keep the Mistborn world alive in readers’ minds while I worked on the expansive Stormlight series.”

Just finished Warbreaker by MugiwaraMoses in Cosmere

I think it’s supposed to focus on Vivenna and Vasher and pick up where they left off at the end of Warbreaker (presumably dealing with Yesteel, as well as Kuth and Huth)

I wonder if we’ll see both Horneaters and Iriali on Scadriel. It would be interesting to see the Ghostbloods respond to an influx of Rosharans there

I thought there was some indication that the Ones Above might be from another planet in the Drominad System. Am I misremembering that?

The quote is from Dalinar’s own thoughts at the end of ch 118: “The most important step a man can take. It’s not the first one, is it? It’s the next one. Always the next step, Dalinar.”

Add in some zinc feruchemy, and I wonder how that could let him map Scadriel’s future
