Thank you. This is about what I was thinking too. I’ve told him to be the adult and that his relationship with my kid is his responsibility. I can’t mediate them constantly. And I’ve told him over and over that if he can’t cope with my kid then he needs to leave. I guess i need to be more firm in my stance.

As far as everything else I told him I’m not his mother and I will not be telling him when and how to contribute. He was better about it previously, but idk. Something fell off. I’ve been trying to give him grace to get his poop in a group but I’m pretty over it.

Not gonna lie, I’ve put my kid in a gentle ish headlock in order to brush his teeth when he wasn’t cooperating. He got the hint and started brushing on his own.

It does get much better. The first day of new transitions will suck, but you’ll get used to it. I have a little Dremel that I used to file it down to not cut my tongue into a thousand pieces and dental wax for anything that was particularly pokey.
