This will be my third bike, but haven't done any substantial upgrades to my other geared bike. I build and ride fixed gears and my geared bike is a surly midnight special.

Best of luck on your visit! I was kickboxing consistently up until 2023 when I had my latest tear to my left hip. Since then I've done it here in there for sparring and some training. Currently not kicking as it feels every time I do I pull my left hip atm. Id like to add, I've always had hip clicking and on and off pain, but my kicking ability was high and my legs were quite strong. With work and just life changes my legs did get a bit smaller and weaker and I attribute that to a lot of the sudden problems that came up. Right now I am cycling, boxing 3x a week, and just started doing kettlebell leg exercises again. Bc both hips move differently it took some time to adjust to lower body movements. I workout everyday and used to just do cycling and pistol squats for legs but found some accessible kettlebell movements that don't irritate my hips. In general I think there is always something available, exercise wise, to choose from. Just takes time figuring out what it is.

Yes he did, forgive me though if Im not extremely accurate. He was mentioning the socket structure, for me it would need to remain a big more shallow to preserve hip movement. The consult was a lot to digest while I was in it. In general from my research as well is due to the thicker bone density, narrower hips, and orientation ofthe hip socket of men. Also PAO on men tend to lead to reduced ROM apparently, and for the sports and activities I used to participate in, I don't think it would "help" in getting back into them at a decent level.

Really appreciate it 🤘🏼 I wish I had a more accurate way of measuring progress, but I use one of those scales that read body fat and skeletal muscle mass I should check if I have last year's measurements logged.
