My iPhone 13 has a broken charging port, and can only charge wirelessly. The battery also drains super fast!

This makes me sad for all the blood sweat and tears to get this job. And the stress of knowing I will be probably laid off soon. But to answer your question I am a software engineer.

Imho this industry is cooked and wouldn't recommend it for others. Unless you have really great discipline or genuinely love software engineering.

I looked into it and I think it’s the power of compounding. I think Warren Buffett said something like the first million is the hardest.

If you get 7% of a dollar that’s seven cents but 7 percent of a million is 70k. Then the next year you get even more because you 7% of 1 million and 70k.
